Pushpa Abhishekam
In the afternoon, Pushpa Abhishekam was performed by Pujyasri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamiji Swami to His Holiness Pujyasri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamiji with baskets of flowers for about half an hour, almost immersing Him in flowers and He was adorned with Flower Kireetam.

Titles Conferred
The Asthana Vidwan for expertise in Upanyasam & knowledge of ShriVidya was awarded to Sri Taramangalam Subrahmanya Sastry in the presence of Pujyasri Acharya Swamijis.

The Title Guru Kainkarya Chakrvarthy was conferred on Sri. T.V.R. Chari, who has been organizing music festivals and concerts at Srimatam and Sri Kamakshi Temple for the past several years. Sri Chari has also authored books on Temples in Kanchipuram.

Endowment Lecture Held
On the occasion of Jayanthi, the Annual Endowment Lecture sponsored by the Centenarian Trust was held. Prof. Dr. N. Veezhinathan delivered a lecture on the topic Advaita Philosophy and Guru Parampara at the Brindavan Hall.

Deepa Puja
After the lecture, deepa puja was held in which hundreds of ladies participated and performed deepa puja.

Nada Samarpana Programme - Mandolin Concert
Deepa Puja was followed by the Guru Vandana Nada Samarpana Programme in which Sri. U.Srinivas and Sri. U. Rajesh presented a Mandolin Concert, accompanied by Sri. V.V. Srinivasa Rao on Violin, Sri Madrimangalam Swaminathan on Mridangam , Sri. Palghat S.V. Ramani on Ghatam and Sri. Srirangam Kannan on Morsing.

Daanams performed and material aid distributed
On the occasion of Jayanthi, anna danam was performed to thousands of people.Go daanam to an Agni Hotri.

School bags and study material was distributed to about 300 school children. Shaving kit equipments were donated to 25 barbers. Wheel chairs were given to the disabled, and sewing machines to the needy and widows.
